EUBS Grants and Awards
Overview of the grants and awards available at the EUBS Annual Meeting.
Travel Grants
To encourage young people to attend the meeting, EUBS allocates travel grants to the Society’s Annual Meetings to full-time university students working towards a scientific degree with relevance to diving or hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Travel Grant applications were to be submitted by June 30, 2025.
Arne Zetterstrom Award
In commemoration of this pioneer in diving physiology, EUBS awards a prize at each year’s Annual Scientific Meeting for “Best Poster Presentation“. The prize consists of a free registration for the next Annual Scientific Meeting, to be claimed by one of the authors of the winning poster. All posters automatically participate in the competition.
Patrick Musimu Award
The Belgian Society for Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine, in memory of the belgian physiotherapist and freediver Musimu, awards a prize for the “Best Presentation or Poster on Apnea Diving“, consisting also of a free registration to the following EUBS Annual Scientific Meeting.
