Registration instructions and conditions

Reservations were handled on a “first come – first served” basis. Each form was to be filled in individually by only one participant.

Member fee is for the members of EUBS, SPUMS, UHMS and SSLY (membership status was checked).

A discount was offered for participants from emerging countries, based on the low and low-to-middle income countries list on the World Bank website. The crucial factor for the reduced Emerging countries registrant fee was not the country of origin but the country of residence.

Students needed to share proof of their student status if they registered with student registration fee. Student fee was intended for undergraduate students.

Cancellation policy and insurance

For cancellations made by or on June 30th, 2025, full refund (50 eur handling fee was deducted). For cancellations made after June 30th, 2025, no refunds were made.

No-show was not considered a cancellation. Denial of a visa application to Finland did not entitle a participant to any refunds.

The conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the Conference. The registration fees did not include insurance of any kind.

The organisers do not take responsibility for force majeure reasons for cancellation of the event (natural disaster, outbreak of severe contagious epidemic, major strikes etc.). In such a case, the organising committee reserves the right to decide about refunding of paid registration fees.
